Special Formatting Tricks
  • Adding a line-space after an artist will force the next artist on to the next line of the poster. You only see this used in the default lineup after the headliners but it can be used at any time.
  • Words that begin with a lowercase letter will be unbolded and smaller. This is mostly used for bands that begin with "the", such as "the National" on the default lineup. You can tell the generator to ignore this behavior by putting a "*" before the lowercase word, such as "*boygenius" on the default lineup.
  • Separating two words in a band name with "///" will make those two words smaller and place the second word underneath the first. You see this used on the default lineup with bands such as "Todd Terje and///the Olsens".
  • The final trick is related to the previous one and is used on the default lineup for "King Gizzard &-the-Lizard///Wizard" and "Broken Social Scene (performing-You///Forgot-It-in-People)". By using a "-" instead of a space you can use longer phrases rather than only two words while using this formatting trick.
